    NSW Dermatology Trial commences

    Expanding Scope of Practice updates

MedAdvisor Solutions continues to support the delivery of a broader range of healthcare services in Australian pharmacies through the expanding scope of pharmacist practice.

Commencing on the 12th of July 2024, selected NSW pharmacies will be able to treat common skin conditions under a new clinical trial. During the trial, trained pharmacists will offer treatments for impetigo, shingles, cellulitis and mild plaque psoriasis. The NSW Dermatology Trial builds on the already executed UTI trial which saw over 17,000 patients treated in the last twelve months.

A new form will be made available in Record Services featuring prescribing and secure communication integrations for participating pharmacies. Notification of when the Dermatology module will be activated for participating pharmacies will come directly from the trial team at University of Newcastle, unfortunately the MedAdvisor support team won't be able to provide these details.

    July Training Spotlight:

    Record Services

As we migrate our software to the cloud, you'll gain access to the latest web-based versions of the record services forms directly through PlusOne.

As you navigate through these forms, you'll experience the fresh design and user interface that will soon be standard across MedAdvisor’s Pharmacy cloud software, set to launch later this year.

We invite you to attend our upcoming webinar for a comprehensive overview of the Record Services features. This session will cover everything from settings and setup to recording services and generating reports.

Register to join a live webinar here or watch the training overview video below.
