MedAdvisor App Modernisation Feature Highlight:

Streamlined patient onboarding experience

New sign-up screen showcasing socials integration.

Patients will soon be able to access the MedAdvisor App (and apps powered by MedAdvisor) through social login integrations with their Apple, Google and Microsoft accounts.

How this change affects pharmacy:

With app onboarding now taking only a few seconds, patients will be able to order their eScript without the need for a lengthy verification process. This streamlined process will drive more foot-traffic and script volume into your pharmacy driven by the pre-ordering convenience factor the MedAdvisor App provides. 

Streamlined patient onboarding is on track to be released in late March 2024 as part of the v7.0 update to the MedAdvisor App.

 Ganfort^® and Ganfort^® PF (bimatoprost/timolol) Adherence Programs 

The Ganfort Adherence Programs comprises a 12-message initiation program and a subsequent 9-message maintenance program. This results in App connected Ganfort patients at your pharmacy receiving 16 months of support on their medication journey through these sponsored programs.

Owing to improved adherence and persistence, patients receiving these programs on average fill an additional 4 dispenses annually compared to patients not receiving the programs. Since launching in May 2021, the Ganfort programs have been instrumental in generating over 27,700 additional dispenses in pharmacies by supporting an improved understanding of medication adherence and health outcomes for patients.

Ensure your Ganfort^® or Ganfort^® PF patients are signed up to MedAdvisor and Apps powered by MedAdvisor so they can receive the support of these Adherence Programs.

Please do not defer eScripts within Dispense. Deferring an eScript through dispense will disable the token from being able to be viewed and ordered within the App by the patient. As a workaround you can follow the instructions here.
