MedAdvisor for Pharmacy

Cloud update

We are excited to share an important update about the MedAdvisor for Pharmacy cloud migration initiative, designed to help empower a transition to the pharmacy of the future, and expanded scope of practice.

Stage 2 of our cloud migration for MedAdvisor for Pharmacy is officially underway! As part of this phase, MedAdvisor for Pharmacy will replace the existing PlusOne software installed on your pharmacy's terminals, bringing enhanced features and improved performance to your daily operations. Pharmacies will be advised of their upgrade, and we’ll provide training resources and support to guide your staff through the transition, ensuring a smooth experience to the new platform.

This upgrade prepares your team for the final transition (Stage 3) to the fully web-based platform, giving you an early glimpse of the updates and experience you’ll enjoy with the cloud solution.

Patient Adherence Program:

Sotyktu® (deucravacitinib) Patient Adherence Program: Providing Support for Your Patients on Sotyktu

The Sotyktu Adherence Program delivers support through Quality Use of Medicine education to patients who are signed-up to MedAdvisor App/SMS and prescribed Sotyktu for the treatment of mild to severe plaque psoriasis.

A review published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine (2022) found that only 61% of psoriatic patients are adherent to therapy and only 63% are persistent.1

The Sotyktu Adherence Program consists of 12 messages sent over approximately 9 months and is designed to encourage medication adherence and persistence to help patients achieve better health outcomes.

The program currently demonstrates a 16% increase in scripts filled for Sotyktu among patients receiving the program compared to patients not receiving the program.

For more information about the Sotyktu Adherence Program and to see which of your patients are eligible, visit the Digital Adherence Programs tile within the Health Services Hub in MedAdvisor for Pharmacy and search for Sotyktu.

Ensure your Sotyktu patients are signed-up to the MedAdvisor App to automatically start receiving the program.
